Not many people are talking about this…
So I will.
Because I don’t have sponsors paying me to lean one way or another. To talk more about men’s golf than women’s golf.
So today — women’s golf it is.
Look… they play better. And they look better doing it. That’s just how it is, right? It all happened in Amen Corner at Augusta National — the same stretch we talked about last week (holes 11, 12, 13), during the Augusta National Women’s Amateur.
That “Bermuda Triangle” of golf where the best players in the world collapse and real drama unfolds…Well…
Andrea Revuelta, 19 years old, goes out there and makes three birdies in a row on those three holes. Just like that. Like it’s nothing. She was coming off a rough moment after a three-putt on the 10th.
- Her second shot on 11th leaves the ball half a meter from the pin. Birdie.
And she tells her caddie: “Can you imagine if I go birdie, birdie, birdie?”
I guess he did imagine it.
-
Almost a hole-in-one on the scary 12th — a brutal lip-out that almost drops. Second birdie.
-
And on 13th, she reads the break perfectly from the fringe and sinks her third birdie.
4 under par. 68 strokes. Runner-up at -10.
The Madrid star, when interviewed, said she had to go back to her classes at Stanford University…Not sure I would made it to class...
Congrats, Andrea.
And also congratulations to María José Marín from Colombia, who won the tournament at -14 and set a new championship record.
Have a great weekend, golfer!

P.S.2: I’m thinking of getting a net to practice at home… if you know one that really delivers, send it my way. Deal?
